One of the nicer of the standard mexican restaurants in the St. Louis area. 

Key points: It was VERY clean and tastefully decorated! That's a big plus for me since most other authentic mexican restaurants are so tacky and unkept.

I've had a lot of different food here (we practically lived there when it first opened because its' so close to our house). The owner is awesome. Once in a conversation, he let me see the kitchen. It was literally clean enough to eat off the floor. I mean cleaner than our kitchen at home. I was blown away.

I love their food, some dishes more than others. I recommend the enchiladas suizas with chicken, the arroz con pollo, and every once in a while I ask them to make me some carnitas tacos... very authentic, but not on the menu. All fantastic.

I also love their jumbo margarita... it's $15 but it's worth it. Very good to share with someone, but I'm greedy and keep it to myself.

Great food... Unknown to the West County world I had the Pollo Feliz which consisted of two huge grilled chicken breast with grilled shrimp with some queso like sauce poured over with sauteed mushrooms and peppers, onions and tomatoes are underneath. Put them in the tortillas given an you got a fantastic plate. Margaritas according to my parents were decent. Check it out! It's across the Clayton from Lesters.
